Services

Select a condition to learn more

All of our clinics provide individualized treatment plans based on your needs. Instead of relying on machines and gym equipment, we believe your body needs to learn to use its own muscles to stabilize itself. That makes your recovery more natural, safe, and productive.

  • Sports + Orthopedic

Injuries to ligaments, tendons, muscles, bones and joints — common in athletes, but also from aging, overuse, repetitive movement, posture, falls or accidents. Treatment plans include injury-specific manual therapy, exercise, education and a home exercise program, progressed as quickly as possible toward your goals.

    • Dislocations
    • Fractures and breaks
    • Impingement
    • Bursitis / tendonitis
    • Sprained muscles or ligaments
    • Post-operative conditions
  • Spine + Pain

We treat the cause of the pain — not just the pain itself. Approaches that improve mobility, decrease muscle spasm, improve posture and lifting technique, and help you sleep. Most of these injuries are managed successfully without invasive surgery.

    • Degenerative disc disease
    • Muscle strain
    • Sciatica
    • Radiculopathy (pain radiating down an arm or leg)
    • Spine disorders
  • Balance + Vertigo + Concussion

Physical therapy can help with balance issues, vertigo and concussion. Our therapists perform and teach maneuvers for BPPV, the most common cause of vertigo, and design programs of balance and proprioceptive retraining, vestibular therapy, fall prevention and home education.

Balance retraining on a foam pad
  • Neurological Conditions

Conditions of the nervous system such as stroke (CVA), multiple sclerosis, spinal cord injury and Parkinson’s disease. We develop programs to improve strength, balance, coordination and mobility, and educate patients on adaptive devices that improve mobility and safety.

  • Telehealth

One-on-one therapy by video, without leaving your house. Our therapists guide you through exercise programs, make updates and progressions, answer questions, and can safely evaluate new patients.

Hingham clinic · BTL Emsella

A breakthrough, non-invasive treatment for incontinence

Over 200 million people worldwide are affected by incontinence and only half of them seek help. It can be triggered by pregnancy and childbirth, menopause, prostate issues, weakened bladder muscles, or aging.

The BTL Emsella uses high-intensity focused electromagnetic technology to stimulate the pelvic floor muscles and restore neuromuscular control — in just one session it can produce contractions equal to 12,000 Kegel exercises.

“Super physical therapy place conveniently located in the South End. Zach is an amazing therapist who really understands the physiology of the body and how to treat your condition to get you back. I had a torn meniscus and his program significantly helped me get back after the injury.”

About us

Cousins, therapists, and a one-on-one promise

Owners Christine San Antonio and Julia Wyper are cousins who grew up in a tight-knit family. Both followed the same career path and, although they began their professional careers across the country in Texas and California, they brought their skills and experience back to Massachusetts.

In 2004 they opened their outpatient practices with a focus on the one-on-one patient care that has become a hallmark of their services.

Through their years of practice they brought experience from almost every field of therapy, including in-patient acute care, rehab, skilled nursing, home health, pediatrics, sports and outpatient therapy. They are proud to now operate four clinics in Hingham, Whitman, the South End in Boston and Hopkinton.
